Three years ago, Mack McDonald, Lincoln Ward, and Chef J.L. Quevedo, teamed up to create a restaurant that would reflect the flavor and culture of New Orleans’ renowned French Quarter with Texas-sized style! Guests of The Rouxpour are transported to “Bourbon Street during Mardi Gras.” In the intimate and inviting dining room, guests enjoy the authentically delicious flavors created by Chef J.L. Quevedo. Lincoln says, “Chef J.L. Quevedo takes great pride in using fresh ingredients. We offer an ambitious New Orleans style menu that includes Cajun favorites such as char-grilled oysters, Certified Angus Beef steaks, and a variety of fresh fish selections such as Alaskan Halibut and Louisiana Redfish. Best of all, we’re open for dinner, brunch, and offer a fantastic (and convenient) lunch!”
For added flair this holiday season, The Rouxpour has really kicked it up a notch. Holiday menu specialty items include homemade bourbon pecan pie and pumpkin cheesecake, and holiday martinis in irresistible flavors like Chocolate Pretzel, and Peppermint Mocha!’ All your family, friends and guests are guaranteed to enjoy…but plan early! Lincoln says, “I really encourage you to book Christmas parties, private parties, office luncheons, corporate functions, and dinner parties now as dates go fast! We offer private dining with our recently-completed 1000 square foot expansion. And if you already have a site in mind for your holiday festivities, we’ll provide off-site catering!”
Have a Sunday afternoon “shop till you drop” coming up? The Rouxpour is conveniently located near some of the best shopping in Sugar Land! Start your day off right with The Rouxpour’s amazing Sunday Brunch! As the only authentic jazz brunch in Sugar Land, you can enjoy grits and grillades, pain perdue (New Orleans French Toast), omelettes made-to-order, eggs benedict, chicken and sausage jambalaya or gumbo, fresh seafood, or bread pudding with live New Orleans Jazz and Blues. Reservations accepted but not required.
Add a little jazz to your holiday hustle and bustle at The Rouxpour. Drop in for Happy Hour Monday through Friday from 3-7. Or come in with your colleagues or friends for lunch. Lincoln says, “We have put together a fabulous lunch menu with a variety of options…all at a great value! Lunch items are available Mon-Fri 11am-2pm.”
