Clancy’s Public House—your favorite full-service, family-oriented restaurant on FM 359 in Richmond—is redoing their menu! Owner Sean Bielstein says, “We’re keeping the favorites of course. But we’ve had a great response to our daily specials by new chef, Brad Pitre. So we’re putting some of those on the fantastic menu permanently.”
New menu items include Shrimp & Grits, Duroc Pork Chops and the Liam Neeson burger. Sean says, “South Carolina is the shrimp and grits capital of the world. Our customers say our Shrimp & Grits is comparable to South Carolina. That’s a great compliment! We expect to have our new menu out by April 1. But don’t worry, if you want Shrimp & Grits before then, just ask for it and we’ll make it for you.” And the Liam Neeson burger…it’s your favorite Clancy’s burger with a reuben on top. Sean says, “I’m not going to lie…you need a special set of skills to eat this burger.”
Not only does April bring a new menu, it’s also the start of Sunday brunch and catering at Clancy’s. Sean says, “Brunch will be your favorite brunch foods with an Irish twist (think Chicken & Waffles).” With Clancy’s catering, you can bring the food voted “Best New Restaurant in Fort Bend” to your next party. Don’t see what you want on the catering menu? “No worries,” says Sean. “Tell us what you want and we will make it!”
In addition to chef specials every day at lunch and dinner, Clancy’s offers a 16oz Prime Rib every Friday and Saturday. The $25 price includes asparagus and Yukon gold potatoes. But get there early, because once they run out of prime rib…you’re out of luck! We recommend arriving early, enjoying dinner, then stay for the entertainment. Friday nights it’s live music and Saturday is karaoke. We’ll see you there!
