The gift of Flight.

Our goal is to add to the quality of life for children with cancer and other life threatening diseases by sharing with them the experience of flight.  Many of these children are going through treatment that changes their lives.  They just want to not be sick, be ‘normal’ like all the other kids, and most importantly HAVE FUN!  When you talk to these children about their experiences, it really changes your perspective in life.

We have the opportunity to change lives.  Watching these children take their first flight is almost as exciting for an experienced pilot as it is for the child!  We will create an experience for them that will last a lifetime, and hopefully encourage them to become interested in aviation.

Around the World for Life hopes to raise at least $250,000 before July 2013.  With this money, we will organize and coordinate approximately 40  events around the United States to take children with cancer and other life threatening illnesses on ‘discovery flights.’
