League City Lions Club Presents:
The League City Music Festival & BBQ Cookoff – May 6 & 7

Houston Area Native Clint Black Comes Home to Celebrate 25 Years of Country Stardom.

The League City Music Festival and BBQ Cookoff brings native Houston superstar Clint Black home to headline the festival in conjunction with the celebration of the twenty-fifth anniversary of the release of his triple platinum debut album “Killin’ Time,” May 6-7 at Walter Hall Park. Also sharing a major anniversary with patrons of the League City Music Festival, are Friday headliners, the Bellamy Brothers, celebrating 40 years. The League City Lions Club has produced the popular, family-friendly festival and cookoff for over sixty years to raise funds to support a variety of local children activities and charities. In addition to great country music, the festival includes a world-class carnival, food and craft vendors, and the Whataburger Kids Zone with Kids’ Day on Friday, and some of the hottest BBQ teams bringing the smoke and sizzle. Joining Clint Black is his brother and local country star Kevin Black raising awareness for Rett’s Syndrome. Other artists performing include Blue Edmondson, Jake Worthington, the runner up on season six of TV’s “The Voice,” Texas chart-topper Hudson Moore.

Clint and Kevin Black will use their appearance to raise awareness of Rett’s Syndrom. Special VIP Packages are available, including a rare and limted meet and greet with Clint Black.
