When Niyah Gordon had an achy tooth, Mr. Whistle, Mr. Bumpy, and Mr. Thirsty fixed her right up. Those aren’t cartoon characters or imaginary friends…they’re the special tools Dr. Bianca Sanchez uses at Little People’s Dentistry!

Mom Hana Salem says, “Every single day I drive past the sign for Little People’s Dentistry, so when my three-year-old daughter, Niyah, complained of a toothache, only one place came to mind. I was a little nervous, because it was Niyah’s first dental appointment, but everything was wonderful. The waiting area is perfect for kids and made us both comfortable right away.”

“When Dr. Sanchez performed the exam, you could tell she had plenty of experience and a natural talent for working with kids. She was patient and very motherly, as she talked Niyah into opening her mouth so all her teeth could be ‘counted.’ The gloves Dr. Sanchez and her assistants use are flavored, so that that purple ones are grape. Niyah also picked a bubble gum toothpaste for her cleaning. By that point, she was really interested in everything.”

“The best part was when Dr. Sanchez complimented Niyah on taking such good care of her teeth and gave her a ‘good exam’ certificate. Niyah asked me if she could take it into school to show her teacher, because she was so proud. The dental team also took her picture, gave her a balloon and a goody bag, and made her feel really excited about taking care of her teeth. This was an incredible first dental experience…and now Niyah’s looking forward to seeing Dr. Sanchez again!”
