One Piece at a Time, Until All of the Pieces Fit

Hope for Three

“The faces of autism span a range of ages and abilities,” says Darla Farmer, founder of our local 501(c)3 non-profit Hope For Three. “We created Hope for Three to bridge the gap between families and service providers…and to broaden awareness of autism in our community…one piece at a time until all the pieces fit!”
.
Hope for ThreeApril is Worldwide Autism Awareness Month and April 2 is World Autism Day. On that day, each Fort Bend County Mayor or their representative will proclaim April Autism Awareness Month…but Hope for Three has exciting events throughout the month!
.
On April 19th at C & C Dental in Sugar Land, make a detour past C & C Dental in Sugar Land for a Car Wash for Kids, hosted by the Hope For Three Teen Huddle.
.
Enjoy Argentinian food at Tierra del Fuego this April and a portion of the proceeds will benefit the Hope For Three’s Family Assistance Program. Darla says, “This month we’re also expanding the “It’s Cool to Care” school program to empower youth to make a positive contribution to the lives of young people with autism. We need every piece to complete the puzzle!”
.
Teen Huddle launched Project Puzzle…if you donate and sign a puzzle piece, it will be displayed in the windows of local business partners including Beauty Indulgence, DropZone Fitness Sugar Land, Soto’s Kitchen Dulles & Sienna, Chez Beignets III Sugar Land…and many more.
.
Visit www.hopeforthree.org for a full calendar of events, list of business partners, and opportunities for involvement. You’ll see why parents call Hope for Three, “A blessing for parents with kids in the spectrum!” and why these families are such an amazing asset to our community!
