Service to Fort Bend, Service to Our Country

by Amy Sharp

After four years in the Air Force as an air craft mechanic and twenty years with National Cash Register (which brought him to Sugar Land), Johnny Jackson started Jackson Air Conditioning 1982. His son Brian says, “I really learned the business from the ground up, and my son Blake is helping out, too. Throughout the years, we never forget the lessons of patriotism and service my dad exemplifies for us.”

“All of us at Jackson Air salute those who served our country,” says Brian. “Warriors Weekend is a non-profit, 501 (c) 3 Corporation dedicated to the support of veterans of The United States of America with an emphasis on those wounded in The Global War on Terrorism. In addition to raising donations for veterans and veterans-based causes, they hold two great events for veterans. The Korean War Veterans Parade on February 1st at 10am in downtown Victoria will honor all Veterans of the Korean War. The annual Warrior’s Weekend fishing competition will be held on Saturday 17 May, 2014 in Port O’Connor Texas. Visit www.warriorsweekend.org for more information. We consider it an honor to support the veterans who gave so much to our country by donating $100 for every system we install to the Warrior Weekend Project.”

Today, Jackson Air is the oldest Trane Comfort Specialist in Sugar Land, winners of the BBB Award of Excellence for the last three years, NATE certified and repeat winners of the Angie’s List Super Service Award. Brian says, “Trane high-efficiency systems are made right here in Tyler, TX. The Trane two-stage air conditioning and heating system gives you just the right amount of cool or heat and great humidity control….and the Trane CleanEffects whole-house air filtration system removes 99% of allergens from the air. It’s the best system on the market…we’ve been installing them for more than 30 years, and the product has been around for more than 100 years!”

Of course, equipment is just part of the equation when choosing an AC company…and Brian understands that. Brian says, “We want each and every customer to feel like part of our family. We always provide honest, no pressure advice…never a bait-and-switch. And we always follow up to ensure complete satisfaction. Plus, we keep you in our family’s hands…installation is the most important part of a new system, and we never use subcontractors for our residential or commercial work. We strive to make you a customer for life!”
