Sick Children and Their Families Received 5 Star Treatment at Ronald McDonald House Houston Thanks to Magnolia Hotels and PwC Charitable Foundation

Day Included University of Houston Pre-Med Orchestra Private Performance, Interactive Kid Station, Parent Spa Treatments & Gourmet Candlelight Dinner

Singing ChildWHAT: Since its first year in 2014, Five Star Day has given families of seriously ill children an opportunity to relax, be pampered, and take a break from the harsh reality of their child’s medical condition.

This past Monday, April 25th, Five Star Day was an all-day affair that provided: activities for the children at our first-ever PwC Foundation Interactive Kid Station, restful spa retreats for parents, and a gourmet candlelight dinner that families enjoyed together, prepared by Magnolia Hotels’ Executive Chef Adam Deviney. Evening entertainment included a special, private musical performance by the University of Houston’s Pre-Medical Collegiate Orchestra, fun with Ronald McDonald, and a magic show!
