FORT BEND COUNTY, TX – Come one, come all, it’s story time y’all! Youth in Philanthropy presented by the George Foundation and the Fort Bend Chamber of Commerce will be assisting the Literacy Council with Once Upon a Time, an entertaining and interactive reading workshop for children on January 11, 2014 at the Literacy Council. Once Upon a Time is a family literacy event where YIP students will host a children’s story time theater.

All children, age’s three to ten years old, are invited to participate in this free workshop that will include story productions and a craft station. In addition, there will be a presentation on How to Read to Your Child for the parents. There will be recommended reading lists handouts and suggested brochures for parents on reading to their children.
