Come Mix & Mingle

Houston Museum of Natural Science - Sugar LandWhen Star Hand needed help placing the star atop this beautiful holiday tree, she turned to the one soul at The Houston Museum of Natural Science at Sugar Land that was “up to” the task: the fantastic “Tree-Rex!”

This holiday season, “Tree-Rex” and Star invite you to The Houston Museum of Natural Science at Sugar Land’s 5th annual Jingle Tree. Jingle Tree features a showcase of beautifully decorated trees, wreaths and swags that will be up for bidding in a week-long online silent auction. These items are sponsored and decorated by Fort Bend designers, museum supporters, local celebrities, artistic visionaries and the museum’s very own “Tree-Rex” himself.

Houston Museum of Natural Science - Sugar LandStar is chairing this year’s Jingle, Jingle Mix ‘n Mingle Happy Hour and auction close out. “My husband Ivan and I are huge supporters of HMNS’s mission of science education,” says Star. “Jingle Tree proceeds help make possible reduced price and free events for community partners that include Parks Youth Ranch, Sunshine Kids, Child Advocates, Texana and FBISD. This is a great event where you can support the museum, support our community, bid on a fabulous tree, and have all sorts of fun!”

This year’s co-chairs are Farrah Gandhi and Pat Hebert. Honorees are Mayor & Mrs. Joe Zimmerman and Allison & Cassandra Wen.

To participate, attend one of the festive Jingle Tree events and begin bidding. You can make bids whenever you like or “buy it now” when you first see it. You’ll be notified on your phone anytime you’ve been out bid. For more information, visit www.hmns.org/hmns-at-sugar-land/jingle-tree.
