Exceptional Primary Care,
Close to Home

What started as an internal medicine and infectious disease practice in Sugar Land has grown into a trusted, multi-location primary care network, while still offering critical specialties. Capital Health & Wellness offers primary care at their convenient Sugar Land location, and also has three other locations dedicated to providing much-needed family medicine with expanded coverage.

“Capital has been a trusted name in medicine in Fort Bend County for years,” says Dr. Salman Aly, owner of the Capital practices. “We want our patients and the community to know that we are a practice that focuses on health, wellness, anti-aging, well-being, and prevention of conditions that can make life more difficult.”

Primary Care Shortage
According to the Texas Health and Human Services, Texas is projected to be short more than 16,000 doctors by 2036. Many of the Health Professional Shortage Areas (HPSAs) are located in Southeast Texas. Dr. Salman and his brother, Dr. Sarfraz Aly, have already helped some of those communities by offering primary care in their area, with plans to open more locations in the future.

Capital’s Plan to Alleviate the Problem
“We’re expanding our primary care services and also offering preventative interventions, such as early detection of cancer via tumor marker screenings and specialized blood screening, anti-aging treatments, and innovative modalities, such as hyperbaric treatment, peptides, injections, NAD injections, infusions, and GLP-1s for weight loss,” Dr. Aly says.

Current locations include:
• Sugar Land—6903 Brisbane Ct, Sugar Land
• Aliana—16803 W. Airport Blvd, Suite 290, Sugar Land
• Bay City—1701 Golden Ave, Bay City
• Wharton—2011 FM 102, Suite A, Wharton

Mobile Clinic Offers Greater Community Impact
Capital’s United Community Foundation (UCF), a nonprofit organization that expands healthcare access to Fort Bend and beyond, is dedicated to providing healthcare to everyone, no matter their circumstances. Physicians see patients at the foundation’s Unity Clinic in Rosenberg and the clinic recently introduced a new mobile health unit.
“Bringing preventive and primary healthcare to underserved communities across Harris, Fort Bend, and Wharton Counties, the mobile clinic is designed to reduce barriers such as transportation, distance, and limited access to healthcare, by delivering services where people live, work, and gather,” Dr. Aly says.

Why Choose Capital as your Primary Care Provider?
“You deserve healthcare that sees the complete picture of your health. At Capital Health & Wellness, our providers work together across specialties to deliver compassionate, coordinated care focused on helping you feel your best today and stay healthier tomorrow,” Dr. Aly explains. “Our goal with Capital Health & Wellness is to serve our area’s increased population with primary care while also increasing the range of hospitals our practice can admit to when necessary.”
