Little Patients, Big Smiles,
Caring Staff

Emma started seeing Dr. Faisal Khan, founder and owner of Grand Parkway Pediatric Dental, when she was just two years old. Now 10, Emma actually enjoys going to the dentist. There’s no fear or anxiety when walking through the doors of Grand Parkway Pediatric Dental.

“Dentists have two jobs. They are both teachers and dentists. They educate and they fix teeth,” Emma wisely states.

Emma’s younger sister Ellie, age six, has followed in her footsteps and also sees the dentists at Grand Parkway Pediatric Dental. Mom, Kat, and dad, Colby, found the dental practice when they lived right next to the practice’s previous location. The practice moved and upgraded, as did the family, who now live in Fulshear. But the family still relies on Dr. Khan and his team to help them keep their kids’ teeth healthy.

“Ellie had a lot of cavities, which ended up needing crowns,” Kat says. “Ellie can be a bit challenging, and the first time she went in for treatment, she wouldn’t take the sedation offered. Dr. Khan was very patient and understanding. In the end, he didn’t want her to be uncomfortable, so we rescheduled to come back when an anesthesiologist was there and she could be fully asleep.”

“Dr. Khan went out of his way to make sure Ellie was comfortable, and that we were too,” Colby adds.

Dr. Khan and his teams at both Grand Parkway Pediatric Dental and Memorial Pediatric Dentistry are committed to making kids’ trips to the dentist relaxed and anxiety-free.
“Everyone at the practice is so kind. They really know what they are doing with children,” Kat continues. “The staff pays attention to what the girls are saying, even when they have extra requests, like asking for a second prize.”

Colby adds, “The staff know the girls well, and both girls feel safe and comfortable there. They are genuinely just patient with the girls.”

While waiting to be called back for treatment, both girls love the welcoming waiting room. Emma loves playing PacMan and dancing on the floor projection.

At Grand Parkway Pediatric Dental’s two offices, Dr. David Tang, Dr. Priyanshi Ritwik, Dr. Anna Feng, Dr. Khadija Khan, along with an oral surgeon and an anesthesiologist, join Dr. Khan in providing all aspects of pediatric dentistry, special needs dentistry, and minor orthodontics.

“I left a recent review, saying it’s the best place to take your kids,” Kat concludes. “They’re personable, they know what they’re doing, and the girls don’t leave crying.”
