“The first time I saw Dr. Humble,” says Carrie, “I was referred by two highly-regarded Houston area ENT specialists. I was having severe headaches, and I had once broken my nose. My nose was literally sitting sideways, and I had a huge growth that had started as the break healed…and that growth was attached to everything in or near the inside of my nose, causing the headaches. The ENTs thought a rhinoplasty was in order and recommended Dr. Humble for the job. After my surgery, I couldn’t believe it…I could breath so well and the headaches were gone!”

And it wouldn’t be Carrie’s last trip to see Dr. Humble. “I had an emergency hysterectomy,” says Carrie, “and after I was put back together, I was an absolute mess. My back hurt constantly. I had about a two and half inch gap in my stomach muscle walls, and without the support of my stomach, my back was suffering. Remembering Dr. Humble’s amazing work on my nose, I decided to talk to him…see if he could help me. We did a tummy tuck, and I can’t even put into words how much better I feel!”

“Dr. Humble is so amazing,” continues Carrie. “Both he and his staff care so much about you…and want you to be the best you can be. We went back a third time with my husband Paul. He suffered from severe sleep apnea…he hadn’t had a good night’s sleep in years. Dr. Humble performed a rhinoplasty on him, creating a huge airway that he’d never had before. He jokes that he could now slide a knife all the way up his nose! But more importantly, he’s getting sleep!”

Carrie travelled for years as an interior designer, and is now home on their 4000 acre farm in El Maton, TX. “I still take on some design projects,” says Carrie, “but I love being here with Paul. We are just so grateful for the quality of life Dr. Humble has given back to us–a life without headaches and back pain and a life with sleep–and we want to cherish every minute. We joke with our daughter that when we are older we will have to go back to Dr. Humble for facelifts. I don’t know if that will happen, but I do know that if I ever see another plastic surgeon, it will definitely be Dr. Humble!”
