“When you see us,” continues Jennifer, “you don’t just ‘see the doctor.’ We have tailored patient care for patients ages 18 and up. I work closely with Dr. Parikh to educate you on your disease, your medications, your weight, and your diet. We are committed to staying up-to-date on the newest medications and we individualize your treatment. As moms ourselves, both Dr. Parikh and I enjoy pregnant patients and enjoy managing any concerns throughout pregnancy including diabetes or thyroid issues.”

Board-certified in Internal Medicine and Endocrinology, Dr. Parikh is affiliated with Memorial Hermann Hospital Sugar Land and Methodist Hospital Sugar Land. She treats all endocrinologic disorders, but she has a special interest in managing all forms of diabetes. With Jennifer, she brings years of experience and a belief in using cutting edge technology including insulin pumps and continuous glucose monitors. “Caring for patients in the new millennium is different,” says Dr. Parikh. “We gear our care to the future by using a state-of-the art medical record system, new drugs and thoroughly modern therapy for endocrinologic disorders.”

Both Dr. Parikh and Jennifer grew up here in Sugar Land and are graduates of Clements High School. After completing extensive training, each returned to Sugar Land to raise families. “This profession is a highly-personal one,” says Dr. Parikh. “I like to be available to my patients for all their medical concerns…but I also enjoy really getting to know them as people. Across the board, we believe in providing prompt services…including a patient portal system for direct communication. Keeping an open dialogue is the best way to be proactive about your health!”
