Nittasha A. Naidu, CEO of Elsun MedStaff & HR Consulting, grew up right here in Fort Bend County … Sugar Land to be specific. An alumnus of First Colony Middle School and Clements High School, Nittasha began her business career at the young age of 10.

“I came from an immigrant family. They owned a jewelry store where I spent my weekends as a child, and that’s where my entrepreneurial spirit was born,” Nittasha explains. “I learned a lot about people relations, understanding clients’ needs and managing expectations through the family business. I was heavily involved with the business until I went off to college to pursue my educational dreams. I always knew that one day I would incorporate my education with my experience in entrepreneurship and create something of my own.”

That entrepreneurial spirit combined with her elite professional pedigree, including a Master’s in Healthcare Human Resources and over 15 years of industry experience, led her to create her own company seven years ago.

Nittasha loves having her home base in Sugar Land, even while serving hospitals and clinics from New York to California, and multiple locations in between. She says, “In 2020, we went national – right in the middle of Covid – and now have 11 recruiters across the nation. I love how the Sugar Land community has grown. We have remarkable healthcare facilities and private practices here along with great local talent which helps us to plug the right person into the right role.”

In addition to loving Sugar Land’s vibrant community, Nittasha loves raising her two daughters, ages 7 and 10, here with her husband, Sunny. “It’s very important for me to be a strong role model to my daughters. I was raised with a strong work ethic and a firm moral code – values I am now dedicated to instilling in my daughters” Nittasha says.
