The kids shared pizza, cookies, ice cream and cake…but anytime you walk through the doors of GF, the scent of freshly baked cookies will greet you. Every year he takes nominations for schools that need a teacher’s lounge makeover…and he delivers one GF-style! Every Christmas for the last 30 years, GF has provided needy Houston area families with new furniture…and to celebrate the 30th anniversary of this tradition, GF delivered all new furniture to 30 families! Recently, Mattress Mack made a donation to help fund the revolutionary mobile stroke unit –the first in the United States–at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston Medical School in and with Memorial Hermann-Texas Medical Center. This past August at the GF North Freeway location, the community banded together in the Ice Bucket Challenge and donated $10,000 to the ALS Texas Chapter and $10,000 to the national ALS Association to help #strikeoutALS!
