Sitting on three acres of wooded natural beauty, under the canopy of 25 mature oak trees, you’ll find a new way to help your loved ones experience a unique style of assisted living.

“Silverbelle Assisted Living will be a ‘wellness haven’ for area seniors. We will provide companionship, spiritual growth, fun activities, and top-notch care,” says Tracy Jones, one of the owners of Silverbelle.

Tracy and her husband, Jeff, a physician with experience in pain management, both cherish their time with family. While practicing, Dr. Jones enjoyed spending time talking with seniors, learning about their families, and just listening to them talk about their lives and needs. When he and Tracy started talking about those seniors and their need for compassion and an empathetic ear, they developed the idea to create a place where seniors would want to spend their golden years.

“A lot of my patients needed assisted living, but they didn’t like the idea of moving into a sterile, impersonal community,” Dr. Jones says. “I started thinking about how we could provide a clean, nice place for them to age in place.”

The couple, who met in Rosenberg, are raising their three children in Richmond. They loved the feel of the wooded neighborhoods and living among nature, under the trees. “This will be a family-oriented community that is owned and managed by a physician to offer vital care,” Tracy says.

With a 6:1 resident/caregiver ratio, Silverbelle Assisted Living will offer all of the Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), which are essential, routine self-care tasks required to manage basic physical needs and maintain personal well-being. Tasks like: eating and feeding, bathing and grooming, dressing, mobility and transferring, toileting, and continence. The community offers 16 bedrooms, each with an ensuite, private bath.
“We’re also implementing two pieces of technology that will help us get to know our residents quicker and provide safety tools while they’re living with us,” Dr. Jones says.

CarePredict provides fall detection, real-time indoor location tracking, wander management alerts, and a two-way voice communication feature, while TSOLife provides detailed resident interviews to offer personalized engagements, social matching, and quality of life tracking.

“We know moving a loved one into assisted living is a hard decision for a family to make, and we want to provide a community where they don’t feel like they’re taking a step down in their living environment. We already have our first rooms filled with a couple of dinner mates and friends in their 90s,” Tracy says. “There is just something unique and special about Silverbelle.
