Is your home less than 1 year old? “New builds or warranty build inspections often reveal items the builder has missed,” John explains. “One of the strangest was a young lady who had lived in a new home for nearly a year when we found there was no insulation in the attic. She thought her AC was running too much…but didn’t know why. Due to our observation, the builder had an insulation crew there within an hour and the homeowner was given one year of electric bills paid by the builder. It’s part of the business…builders can miss things. But if we catch them and get them fixed under warranty, it will save you money over the years you own the home.”

With a great reputation for inspecting houses, many of John’s customers requested he do their pest control too. “In 2007 I started BUGCO Pest Control, and asked my friend Chris Millward to help head it up,” says John. “As local guys, we know what kind of pests to expect and how to deal with them.
