Create Your Outdoor Space with Confidence

Bratton PoolsKevin and Stephanie Williams love having a pool at their Greatwood home, but it was time for an update. “We really wanted to change up the look,” says Kevin. “We wanted to keep the shape, but make it different by adding water elements and changing the plaster, coping and decking. Plus, we wanted an outdoor kitchen that flowed great with the new look of our pool.”

Kevin had already started soliciting bids when he read about an amazing outdoor living space conversion Bratton Pools did for another Sugar Land customer. “Their situation was very similar to ours,” says Kevin. “Old pool needing updates, plus incorporating an outdoor kitchen. I immediately added Bratton to the bidding process.”

“What really set Mike Bratton apart from the others is his ability to communicate,” says Kevin. “From the very beginning, I was comfortable with him and confident in his abilities. He helped me through the choices…providing examples and even took me out to two pools he had done…that really helped a lot. We added a split rock waterfall and some copper fire bowl elements with a spill-out feature. Together with the new plaster, coping and decking, these elements really made the visual impact we were looking for! Mike’s gift for communication continued throughout construction. He always made sure the crews were on the same page as us, and from timelines to next steps to where we were in the project, we never felt in the dark.”

One of the Williams’ other requirements for the project was it be done in two phases. “The pool was our first priority,” says Kevin, “and we wanted the kitchen in a separate phase, but still part of the master plan. Mike was fully onboard with our idea. One of the challenges on the kitchen was that we just don’t have a lot of room in our yard…so maximizing space was key. I think we have a great game plan with additional features that will tie it all together. I wish I could talk more about it…but we aren’t starting phase two of the project until the fall. I can’t wait to see how it turns out!”

“We can’t wait either!” says Kryshon Bratton, Mike’s wife and co-owner of Bratton Pools. “Whether we are building a new pool or updating an existing one, every pool we do is custom. I love that we could provide that service to Kevin and Stephanie, and I’m confident we will see even more of their personalities shine through as we bring their outdoor kitchen to life.”

A family owned and operated business, Bratton Pools maintains an A+ rating with the BBB. Their services include pool construction, renovation, and repairs, outdoor kitchens, living areas, entertainment areas, fire pits and patio extensions. Kevin says, “I’ve already recommended Bratton Pools to several friends. Definitely a company you can trust!”
