When patients walk into the aquatic wonderland that is Grand Parkway Pediatric Dental’s waiting area, they are mesmerized by the arcade games, the movie nook, and the enormous, silly sea animals on the walls (the shark has braces!). But it’s not just the fun setting that makes kids feel comfortable. The team works tirelessly to ensure each and every patient has a relaxed dental experience and leaves happy. Dr. Faisal Khan attributes the practice’s success to the four dentists and team of 20 employees backing them up.

“I have three amazing dentists on staff, who all believe the kids come first, and they practice that every day,” he says. Dr Priyanshi Ritwik, Dr. Annie Zheng, and Dr. Khadija Khan are all well-loved by the kids that come in. “Our team is trained on advanced dental procedures and techniques so that patients can benefit from the latest in dental care.”

“We understand the importance of listening to patients and helping them to feel comfortable and relaxed. This personal approach is evident in everything we do,” says Dr. Zheng.
“This is a very child-centered practice,” adds Dr. Ritwik. “If something is appropriate and right for children, we make it happen. We have access to the equipment, materials, and other specialized items that we need. This allows us to take care of each child as if they were one of our own. I go to bed happy knowing we are providing the best pediatric dental care possible.”

From making an appointment, filling out paperwork, conducting an examination, and providing dental treatments, the staff at Grand Parkway Pediatric Dental takes the time to connect with patients and give them the thoughtful attention they deserve.

One of the practice’s newer employees, dental hygienist Kenshae Nevis, says, “I love the office’s energy and its fact-paced environment, where everyone works together to make sure the kids are at ease.”

Office Manager Mary Zurita has been with the practice for 11 years. “Our team gets to know our patients, and our patients get to know our staff. We enjoy watching the children grow with us through the years. Seeing familiar and friendly faces when they walk in the door puts patients and their families at ease,” Mary says. “We have several other team members who have been here for more than a decade! Our team is a big family.”

Today, with a dozen years in business, Grand Parkway Pediatric Dental is one of the largest pediatric dental offices in all of Fort Bend, Houston, and the surrounding areas. They specialize in providing care for infants, children, and teens, as well as other individuals. “Our team is sincerely dedicated to providing a welcoming and imaginative experience for all children,” he concludes. “Sometimes we even express ourselves through costumes and fun t-shirts to make the kids smile and relax.
