When Andi St. Jean joined Keller Williams Southwest (KWSW) almost 20 years ago, “Keller Williams wasn’t as big yet, but I knew there was something very different about it,” she says. “I never planned to go into leadership, but my husband and I prayed about it and I had peace that it was God’s plan. The firm’s mission of God, Family, Business definitely applied to me.”
 
Gary Keller wanted to create a company that no one wanted to leave. Keller Williams was founded in 1983 by Keller and Joe Williams. It started out as a single office based in Austin, selling local residential real estate. Now Keller Williams Realty, Inc. is the largest real estate franchise by agent count in the world, with approximately 700 offices and 120,000 associates in more than a dozen countries around the world.
 
Andi and her husband, Chad, rose through the Keller Williams ranks together, though Andi led the way. Today, Andi is the broker over three busy Houston-area offices: Keller Williams Southwest in Sugar Land; Keller Williams Signature in Katy; and Keller Williams Houston Central in East Downtown.
“Keller Williams’s philosophy of putting agents and ownership on the same side of the table and training on the most critical issues facing us in today’s market were also incredibly important to us,” Andi says.
 
“My job is to support our agents,” she explains. Andi learned that she could help other KWSW agents become leaders. “We follow Keller Williams’s belief system that offers a unifying template for action and understanding, reminding associates that customers always come first, trust begins with honesty and people drive success… and everyone achieves more through teamwork. We teach agents how to find the win-win for both parties, and that your integrity is not worth any amount of money,” she says.
With four sons, Andi is a busy, working mom. “I was in labor at the closing table. I had three closings that day and made it to them all!” she says. “Keller Williams is a great place to work as a busy mom. It’s a big job, but an exciting one.”
