The Rios family has been offering fine dining experiences since 2005, and their latest Veritas (meaning “truth”) is no exception. Kevin Rios, Proprietor of Veritas, says, “We’re delighted to open a completely original location that really expresses our vision for fine dining in Fort Bend. We want you to be comfortable while enjoying the best prime beef, seafood, and innovative appetizers and pasta…because dining should always be a special occasion!”

Nothing’s more romantic than a meal at Veritas, overlooking the lake and watching the lights on the fountains. Executive Chef Alex Mendoza creates art in every dish, and clients are amazed by the presentation and the fabulous taste! Start with an appetizer like Fried Lobster with Sweet Thai Chili or Ahi-Tuna Tacos, then allow yourself to be tempted by creative salads and pastas or a selection of innovative and fresh seafood dishes. Kevin says, “We wanted to create a ‘steakhouse’ option for our guests, so we’re proud to serve Creekstone Farms USDA Prime in a variety of options including ribeye, filet, and even porterhouse (for two). We offer a variety of potential toppings including our signature Veritas Sauce, Jumbo Lump Crab Meat, Bearnaise, and more. Our sides––including the wildly popular Lobster Mac and Cheese and our Fried Asparagus––are served family style. Try to save room…there’s always something special on our dessert cart!”

The Romans may say, “In Vino Veritas” but we’d like to tell you about the amazing selection of vino in our local Veritas. The wine cellar, kept at a constant 58 degrees, holds over 300 selections featuring many California Reds as well as a complete international wine list. Kevin says, “Our private wine cellar offers a special place for a intimate, elegant meal…as does our veranda with views of the lake.”
