National Oilwell Varco to be Presenting Sponsor for Child Advocates of Fort Bend’s Cinderella Ball

National Oilwell Varco will be one of three presenting sponsors for Child Advocates of Fort Bend’s Cinderella Ball on May 3, 2014. You are invited to polish your glass slippers, press your best suit or slip into your prettiest ballgown and join in the fun at the Ballroom of the Sugar Land Marriott Town Square beginning at 6:00 pm. The 2014 Gala committee is hard at work planning an enchanting evening of entertainment and fun.

They truly understand the work that we do and the need that we meet within our community,” said Ruthanne Mefford, Executive Director of Child Advocates of Fort Bend. Joining them as presenting sponsors this year are Exchange Club of Sugar Land and Sysco Corporation.

Honorary Chairs for The Cinderella Ball are Diana and John Null. Michele Fisher of The New 93Q and Michele Fisher Voice Overs will serve as emcee. Randolph Holford will be the auctioneer.

“At the very heart of this event is the belief that every child deserves a safe and healthy childhood. Community participation in our Gala fundraiser is a crucial part of our mission to help children and families affected by child abuse,” says Ruthanne Mefford, executive director at Child Advocates of Fort Bend.

Child Advocates of Fort Bend is a non-profit agency dedicated to providing a voice, healing the hurt and breaking the cycle of child abuse in Fort Bend County. Through its Court Appointed Special Advocates Program (CASA), Children’s Advocacy Center (CAC) and more than 200 trained community volunteer advocates, Child Advocates touches the lives of more than 400 children each month.
