Your doggie may linger by the table loaded with iced cookies and “pupcakes,” but there’s plenty of healthy choices, too! “Pet nutrition is my passion,” says Cathy. “Many health issues can be solved or prevented with the correct food. We carry high-quality options at a variety of price points, including familiar brands like Blue Buffalo and Acana. Often we’ve personally met the people behind the dog foods we carry. Wild Calling is by a father and son team out of Colorado, Merrick is Texas-based, and Fromm is a fifth generation family business. Primal (the raw food I feed my own dogs) is 100 percent grain and gluten free with antibiotic-free meats, organic fruits and vegetables for perfectly balanced nutrition. Come in and we’ll help you find the best fit for your best friend!”
“The best part was when Dr. Sanchez complimented Niyah on taking such good care of her teeth and gave her a ‘good exam’ certificate. Niyah asked me if she could take it into school to show her teacher, because she was so proud. The dental team also took her picture, gave her a balloon and a goody bag, and made her feel really excited about taking care of her teeth. This was an incredible first dental experience...and now Niyah’s looking forward to seeing Dr. Sanchez again!”
Given a choice between an elf that puts treats in your stocking and a Professional Maid who sweeps and vacuums and mops, who would choose the elf? Every team from the Professional Maid Service is bonded and insured, has undergone thorough background checks, and arrives neatly uniformed in a clearly-labelled company car, so you can have complete confidence. Not even Santa can make that kind of promise about his team! Sal says, “This time of year many of our clients choose our no-hassle key drop off and pick up, so they come home from running errands, a long day of work, or a holiday party to find their house is sparkling clean and waiting.”
According to the American Council for an Energy Efficient Economy (ACEEE), energy consumption by residential A/C units adds up to more than eight percent of all the electricity produced in the U.S….at a cost to homeowners of $15 billion each year! Besides the cost, all that cooling causes annual emissions of about 195 million tons of CO2...that’s two tons per year for each house with A/C! Yikes! What if you’re paying all that money, but your air conditioner isn’t even doing its job?

Celebrities like Kim Kardsashian and supermodel Bar Refaeli know the secret to ageless beauty could lie in your own blood. “In the Vampire Facelift,” says Dr. Alford, “we withdraw and spin down your own blood and obtain a platelet layer that is high in blood products that naturally promote inflammation and healing. The Vampire Facelift rejuvenates your face by encouraging collagen formation to reduce wrinkles, improve your complexion, and tighten loose skin. You’ll look refreshed, younger, and naturally beautiful.”
“If the kitchen is the heart of the home, your heart may be overflowing this holiday season. When it’s fragrant with the scents of cinnamon, apple, and clove, you have your favorite carol playing in the background, and the lights are twinkling on the tree, it may be hard to imagine anything better. But if your kitchen is bursting at the seams with all your friends and family (not to mention pots and pans and baking sheets), maybe it’s time to dream big...and at Grand Windows and Interiors, we believe in making dreams come true. Instead of putting one wrapped box after another under the tree, your family could save up for a kitchen spacious enough to embrace your ever-expanding family, one with storage at hand for all your favorite bakeware, one designed to reflect your personality and the things you hold most dear.”
It all started back in rural Oklahoma when patriarch Johnny Jackson, one of eleven children, decided to go to work for National Cash Register. He’d just finished a stint with the Air Force as an aircraft mechanic, and found that he enjoyed using tools to solve mechanical problems. In 1976, National Cash Register transferred Jackson, who’d started a family at that point, to an up-and-coming subdivision of Houston called Sugar Land. Jackson loved the area and put down roots there. Then he quickly realized that the Gulf Coast required something he’d never grown up with in Oklahoma: air-conditioning. He started Jackson Air & Heat, and his son, Brian Jackson, cut his teeth there. Growing up in a family business taught Brian--whose own sons now work in the family business--the importance of giving great service at a great price by educated professionals. That’s been the Jackson family way....for three generations at Jackson Air & Heat.
Once you know a hard freeze is coming, take the time to wrap your exposed pipes. Instead of grabbing old towels or blankets, pick up pipe insulation and insulation tape from a hardware store. Start with the main water riser that goes directly into your home...it’s the most important point to wrap.
