The annual Columbus Folk Festival will take place at Beason’s Park on November 1-3, 2013. Starting early evening on Friday, the festival will include re-enactments from the Texas Revolution, Pioneer Camp with period music from the Tejas Pioneers, the “Live Oaks and Dead Folks” cemetery tour, the “Magnolia Homes Tour” and “Architecture Tour,” the Plein Art Competition a “Magnolia Belles” and “Miss Columbus” pageant, additional games and vendors offering food, wares and arts and crafts.
