Missi Krause is a personal trainer at Greatwood Training Center…and the mother of five active kids between the ages of four and nineteen. My husband was flying in from a week in Alaska and he came from the airport to meet me at St. Michael’s. I must have been there less than thirty minutes total from the moment I walked in until they had me cleaned up, stitched up, and ready to go!”
FORT BEND ISD - Bush High School Fine Arts Department will present Leonard Bernstein’s West Side Story, directed by Steve Carpentier. Performances will be held on January 31 and February 1, 2, and 4 at 7:00 p.m. in the Bush High School auditorium (6707 FM 1464, Richmond, 77407). Approximately 500 8th grade students sat quietly and politely, listening carefully to the first of eight speakers scheduled to speak to them throughout the day. Dressed in clothes appropriate for an interview, they looked mature and ready for the next step.
Fort Bend ISD will hold its District Spelling Bee on Saturday, February 9, from 9:00 a.m. to approximately 12:00 p.m., in Fort Settlement Middle School’s cafetorium (5440 Elkins Road, Sugar Land, 77479). The District event will name two Spelling Bee champions who will advance to the Houston PBS Spelling Bee, which will be held on Saturday, March 23. Come and support the District’s top spellers at this free event.
