The building has been owned by many different music stores in the past. Holcombe-Lindquist owned the place from the early years in the 70’s and 80’s, until Brook Mays Pianos bought it and took over. Now a Fort Bend local will occupy the decades-old space! Rick Cochran, owner of Fort Bend Music Center in Stafford, says, “We’re thrilled to announce the opening of our new showroom. Fort Bend Music Center is now the only authorized Yamaha Piano Dealer in the Houston area, as well as the only certified Kawai and Shigeru dealer.
