Sometimes the excitement of moving to a new house is dampened by projects or renovations that need to be completed.

Seventeen, that’s how many years the Jinks family has been relying on Dr. Zahra Cook for all of their oral care needs. Of course, Christine Jinks had no idea that’s how things would turn out when she made her first appointment. Moving to the Richmond area by way of the UK and the Netherlands, Christine first heard about Dr. Cook in 1998 when she and her family moved to Pecan Grove.
Kevin and Stephanie Williams love having a pool at their Greatwood home, but it was time for an update. “We really wanted to change up the look,” says Kevin. “We wanted to keep the shape, but make it different by adding water elements and changing the plaster, coping and decking. Plus, we wanted an outdoor kitchen that flowed great with the new look of our pool.”
When the plumber that lived down the street from Sarah Warburton moved, she turned to a big national company the next time she needed plumbing help. “I was so used to my neighbor just stopping by and fixing what needed to be fixed on his way home that I had no idea what I was in for,” says Sarah. “I felt like I was in a high pressure sales pitch and left with an inflated bill. Different guys were in and out of my house, and I had no idea what they were doing or if they were fixing anything!”
